Scorpion Brand fasteners are manufactured to the closest of the upper tolerances and the high end of the material range specified. We reserve the option of exceeding standards when necessary for better fastener performance and/or specialty applications.

Fasteners shown in this catalog are not guaranteed as to suitability for specific purposes. Published values contained within this catalog are the result of independent testing. Holding power depends on the quality of the material being fastened. These published values are to serve as a guideline only and are not guaranteed in any way, written or verbal, by Fasteners Specialties, Inc. or any of its distributors. All figures indicated are average values. Reference should always be made to applicable building codes for the specific safe working load.

The following referenced standards are offered as a guide to manufacturing. As such, they are broad based and show tolerances and ranges for materials and specifications. As in the case with all applications, we can only suggest typical fasteners for typical applications and that the connection design is the sole responsibility of the Building Design Engineer, Architect or otherwise responsible person charged with the design of the connection.

Fasteners, Nails, Screws, Nuts, Bolts, and Washers do not meet the criteria for hazardous chemicals under OSHA regulations. MSDS sheets are available upon request for chemical compositions of coatings.
